Matching!

Elsie is my 2 year old sister, who sleeps with me. While at my grandparents last week, I missed her dreadfully! Each time I talked to her on the phone, she'd say "Ali, I want you!! I want to hold you! (me hold her)". When my Gramma and I were shopping she bought me some material for a new skirt. After making it, I had enough extra to make one for Elsie too!! Here are some pictures:

Oh, what a pretty skirt! What pattern did you use??? I'm working on a paneled jean skirt. We went to Joann's recently, and I bought some khaki material and some pretty stretch brown twill, and I can't wait to sew them up!

I used a gourd skirt pattern, where it's more fitted at the waist, and flares out at the bottom. It's the same pattern I made Elizabeth's skirt out of. A friend of mine made a smaller pattern of it for her younger sister, and she gave me a copy of it. It is so cute on her!!
