For my birthday my Grampa Klahn made me a Hopechest!
Gramma helped with the finishing touches, and it turned
out beautiful!! It is so nice and big and BEAUTIFUL!

Wow!!!! That is a gorgeous hopechest, and what a sweet gift to get from a grandfather! Do you have many things already stored away for a hopechest?

Hi Morgan,

I don't have a whole lot in there yet, but I have a pretty good amount. Now that I have a hopechest, I'm sure I'll be looking harder for things to keep in it!

That's soooooo awesome! How cool that your grandpa made it, too! :)
I'm sure you'll have fun filling it!

I'll post some pictures sometime...but I can't put up pictures of the "party" (no pix of other people) so there'll be plenty of pix of decorations and tons of balloons. ;)
ttyl and Happy New Year!

Gorgeous! I have a makeshift hope chest that I bought at a garage sale! It is wicker and really pretty, and works great for now!

My family spent Tuesday night and part of Wednesday at the Ulmers, but then I stayed until Sunday night.
